Much progress this last few days. The roof has had its first sealant- undertaken during the evening. This is the first layer of proofing - we are told we are getting a great quality roof which is reassuring given the Scottish weather. Also the undercoat (roughcast?) for the harling has started, another Scottish material to keep out bad weather!
